Hey all,

I have been shooting in D-log with a custom setting of -3 in sharpness/contrast/saturation and so far in FCPX, there seems to be an ok amount of data captured and grades pretty well.

Since it is a Sony chip, what are others finding as far as LUTs to start with or use in their grading?  Any other tricks people are finding to manage the edit?

Thanks Tony, I forgot that I had that free REC 709 LUT from them.  It looks about the same as when I do a basic grade, but I will have to compare more.

Have you noticed any smearing when shooting a color chart?  I was seeing it and wondered if it is me or my OSMO or if they all do this?
