i already answered  we use 6S 22,2V connection with XT30 to XT60 on the mainboard from S900/1000

It is solved - you can use the 6s lipo current

Can you use 4s and or up to 8s as a power supply?  I have a custom build that can use 4s to 8s....

So let's see. The x5 series is compatible w LB2. The LB2 is compatible w a2. But somehow, the a2 isn't compatible w x5? I don't see how that's possible. In fact, I will be doing extensive testing immediately.

Have you made any head way with the A2 - LB2 and X5 camera connections?  My first look, it seems that  a CAN1 cable is needed to connect to the top of camera mount.  The cable is available IF you have the A3 controller.  For the A2 the CAN1 connectors are different.

I thought I also saw that LB2 is powered by the A3 controller.  If the LB2 is used with the A2 controller, LB2 is powered by the Z15 gimbal

Buying a new controller is was bloody waste of money if these are the only 2 issues that need to be resolved.

why make us buy an FC each time a new camera shows up. so make the FC affordable

Hi there, I am also converting a S 1000/A3/LB2/X5.
Did You got it working OK.
I am still a bit afraid to power the X5 with 6S 22.2V

Hi I wonder if you could help please.I realise it is a long time ago but I just built the exact same drone and not sure if the X5 would work on my 6 cell 22.2 v Battery.Can you please confirm the battery voltage for your X5 gimbal please?
