Ok thought the OSMO DJI  tri pod was a good idea why isnt there a way to attach the OSMO to the tripod.
I see no threads on the bottom of the osmo to attach it to the tripod..
AM I missing something here?

You need to combine them with extension rod stick.

It is a useful base, and it does provide 3 points a minimally adjustable contact, so isn't a total misrepresentations named as a tripod....I opted for a Mefoto backpacker tripod that provides a bit of additional height and adjustability.  The price is certainly a bit more, but get much more for the money.

Great info I have to look into that set up as well.
I feel its a very stout tripod I was just a bit confused and I instinctively ordered the stick its on back order thru DJI.
Cant wait to use this with the cam in panorama mode I don't always need subjects in the pics .
