Is there a way to get back the DJI Pilot app?   I lost mine on a unwanted update and want it back for my old FW version.

The Phantom3 will only work on the DJI GO app.

I have the Inspire not a Phantom.

My phantom 3 pro would only work with dji pilot and will not work with dji go sice i up dated it.pxxxxxd  off now

Hi.Since i updated my app from dji pilot to dji go i can not access my camera and settings.People say you cant use dji pilot but i did with out any problems.but now unable to fly.I wish i could go back to dji pilot.Never going to update again. Tried to contact dji direct with very poor feed back.

I did find the pilot app but can't quite get it to work yet.

Did you say you found the pilot app and if  you did where did you find it.

Don't remember, but its on my desktop now.  It will load to about 75% and then stops, so have to figure that out yet.

Hi just tried the download app mine is the same only downloads to about 75% then stops.I will let you know if i manage to do it.Let me know if you do.Cheers Derek

Yes still can`t get it to work.Dont think there is a problem with the lead as i have tried several and i think the usb port is ok as well.

Ever since i up dated the app from DJI pilot to DJI go i can`t get the connect camera on my ipad all its says is how to connect.I had no issues before.I have up dated the latest software version on my phantom to v.01.06.0040 still no joy

It seems that the app is not connecting to your remote controller.
Have you tried a different device or different USB cable?
The GO app takes tons more processing power than the Pilot app. I had an iPad2 and when I went to the GO app it wouldn't work anymore. I had to get an iPad Air and it works fine now.
These are the devices that will work 100%, some other devices work, some work a little, and some may not work at all.

I have tried 3 cables now my ipad is an ipad 3.My mate has an ipad air will try it on that and let you know.Missing flying .Thanks for your help much appreciated.Derek

I think that's why it is not working. You need at least an iPad air.
What about your phone?

It sounds like the USB port in your controller may not be working.
Is your Phantom connected to the RC (can you still fly with only the controller and just the app doesn't work)
If it still says "How To Connect" than that means that the controller is not communication with the app. Since you've tried different devices and different USB cables, and if you can still fly, then it must be the USB port on the RC.
You will need to send it in for a warranty repair.
Or if you do not want to send it in you can buy a HDMI module and install it, then you can also plug in an external monitor.

No problem, I installed it on mine when they first came out and it really comes in handy. I also bough this monitor and it's works incredibly well and the pictures just as good as the iPad.

Hoping to get my HDMI port tomorrow but not very hopeful too many people are having problems with the new dji go app might be just wasting money.DJI needs to address the problem fast they take a lot of money for their products and should address it.

The original post sure got off topic and Ken,  your statement that the Inspire only works on the Go app is incorrect.  I was using the Pilot app until lately when it had gotten overwritten by mistake while down loading another app and it flew very well with no issues.  If its not broke, don't fix it.

Oh wow, I'm very sorry. I thought for sure it would be the USB post since the the phone/tablet is not seeing your RC.
Looks like toy are going to need to contact support in your area and do a warranty repair.
And your positive the plugs on the HDMI connector are firmly pressed into the module?
You can fly the aircraft without the app so it's not the connection from the RC to the aircraft.
It sounds like somehow the firmware update to the RC bricked your RC.
One last ditch effort to try, download the 1.3 firmware and put the BIN file on the SD card and use the update controller instructions http://www.dji.com/product/phantom-3-pro/info#downloads
and see if it takes the 1.3 update. Then hopefully when you power cycle it and connect it to the app it will prompt you to update the firmware on the radio. Hopefully it will let you update to the 1.57 RC firmware and cross your fingers that it brings things back to normal.
I don't think it will work but since your RC is bricked already, it doesn't hurt to try.
