Sputnick, why do you think it's lame. Be serious here… Are you suppose to get paid 0.25 each time you make a post. Most and almost all forums do not pay you a single dime to post. At least here you are getting something back.

I think it's a fair deal and I have no problem with it what-so-ever!

First of, I like the idea of getting points and exchange them for cash. The only thing is that people only have to be active on the forum which means that trolls and people that only rant on the forums are being rewarded. I think its better to reward people that are helpful and share useful information. Why not add buttons to posts where people can vote if the answer was helpful/useful and every 50 thumbs up is 1$?

This way the forum wil be filled with useful information instead of clutter to get points ;-)

Great idea, love it!   Question - I went to exchange 5400 points but got a message saying   "*You have already exchanged 5400 points this month"
***UPDATE***

Tried again and found that I could transfer a lesser amount, but the full 5400 wouldn't work.  Might need to put the break point at 5401 and not 5400.

Anyway, great program, thanks for the support!

Sir Shepherd, I did post "Thanks" and was serious.  You are correct, most forum's of any sort don't pay anything for a post, although I do belong to one other that provides points for monthly prizes.  So for DJI to step up their game and provide this benefit is appreciated.  But 'fair' is difficult to define since each person sees that differently.  If someone who is very into social on-line presence, the ratio may be generous and 'fair' and they will certainly benefit more than others.  For myself who has rare time to read and less time to respond, and with very little on-line presence, the term 'fair' means something different.  Everyone has an opinion and that is certain and I respect yours and others.

Sure, here it is.  As I said, it worked using a smaller amount, but when I tried to convert the full 5400 it wouldn't let me, which makes me think 5400 may have been set as the cutoff rather than 5401.

Anyway, it worked with 4500 so I'll convert the rest of the points next month.

Yes, otherwise we would just keep exchanging the same points for cash.  Stay active and the points will build back up.

I think this is a great idea and I don't mean to give DJI any ideas but I noticed the asterisk in front of the sentence for points and cash. Do the points expire? Does the cash expire?
