A easy metod to loosen the camera is to use a cable ties.
See the picure, its get very easy to loose the lens.
Note also on the picture that I have not tighten the cable ties hard, only so much that the lens loose when turning.

For those who don't want to risk scratching the paint on the outside of the lens filter, wrapping something rubber around the filter works very well too.
