i have just bought I pad mini 2 but have a problem cannot set home point
Error message gps signal on mobile device to week contacted Apple tested iPad all ok any one got any ideas

I think Non-cellular version of the IPad mini does not have GPS on the apple device itself. But the home point should be set by the P3 as soon as it gets a stable Sat lock. Are you trying to set home point by location of operator (I.e. Device itself)  - Can you check again?  Also recheck spec of your Apple device if it has cellular/ built-in GPS.

It's just wifi I have been using as us tablet with wifi onlyit set home point as soon as it gets to ne location cannot set home point at all with I pad

The WiFi version of the iPad mini does not have GPS. Only the Cellular version does..

I think that is why you are having the problem.

The i-pad mini2 works fine. Only the Follow Me feature is not possible without phone capability. Home point setting is perfectly possible, and works perfectly.

You don't have GPS. I have the same unit and same problem. The home point will still be set automatically with enough satellites and enough waiting.

thanks for the info but it dose not matter any more as I am now in a no fly zone cant fly locally anymore will have to travel miles  don't up date your app at any cost

Can second this, home setting is to either GPS in P3 or to controller/mini location and works fine (mini2 does not have GPS so correct follow me not capable. I was going to check if this can be enabled by bluetooth / wifi to iphone but in the latest I-Phone software upgrade the mini2 and i-phone cant see one another, finally is anyone else having video feed issues on the mini2 as I can't use mine without blocks of green and breakup

I use the Follow Me feature on my iPad mini2 with the "Vertical Studio app"
