Thanks Roger, I determined the exposure by letting the sky (which was the brightest part) to go a bit over, that gave me the best latitude for the ground without getting lots of noise. I have a set of ND filters that I use so I can keep the shutter speed at multiples of 25fps
Thanks for the reply. Are you using the Histogram or the Zebras. I have always been a still photographer and video is new to me. I started using video with my first Phantom.
Thanks SS! lovely comment! I arrived there right before sunset, did some shots as I like the long shadows as the sun sets in the West, then did the same at 5.00am the next morning. Suddenly between 8.00am and 9.00am the weather set in with huge winds and rain for the next few days.
As it was a 4 hour drive from Sydney, I was so lucky I got my shots when I had the chance!
