Well it installs on the Motorola Nexus 6 with QHD screen. Sweet!

Just the Inspire 1 Release Notes and Disclaimer, no documentation.

I had to side load the APK for the Android.  I got a fail notice several times.  Note that I have been using beta Apps for a while and that may have been an issue.  I was able to load the iOS version without an issue but not from the DJI user site.  I may try on my iPhone.

I downloaded the Android app on my Galaxy S5 and it works nicely....considering I don't have the Inspire yet. I did notice on the map screen a way of drawing a flight path...and it does show a route. I wonder if this has any usability or is reserved for a future firmware release.

Yes, I found that too on the app for iOS. I can draw shapes on the map, but do not know what their usage is... anyone know the answer to this?

They are for the pilot to fly a predetermined flight path.  It is not waypoints but a guide.

If you are in the camera mode you pan/lower/raise camera.

You may draw the flight path on the Map page and use it for the reference. It will not guide your aircraft to flight in that path though.

Interesting.. maybe that is a small part of the groundstation functionality coming soon / coming never (depending on where you read and who you believe)

Because before downloading the app  I did not read anywhere that I could only download it three times otherwise I would have been more careful the first time.  I made the error of clicking many times because your page never told me that it was actually downloading…I couldn’t tell if it was so I keep on clicking it again.  I would not download the same application three times into the same iPad obviously.

Therefore, tell me how I can cancel the previous download attempts in order to download again into my second iPad which I need to use with my second RC.

yes but also the camera and RC S/N numbers giving 9 times before you need to contact DJI.
