Ok, I received my brand new P3A today.  I have been reading the manuals and forums for the past two weeks while I waited for it to ship.  First thing I'm going to do is charge the two batteries I have and the RC.  I'm guessing the next thing I have to do is update the firmware on the RC, phantom, and each battery.  What would be my next steps?  Any suggestions to make this maiden flight easy and amazing.

At this point I'd just return it before your 30day window is up. I bet your in a no fly zone since the update....

I would hold off on the firmware updating.  Look around the forum and you'll see why.  Do it at your own risk.  Better to sit back and see what is going to happen.  Things are changing daily.

Maybe you can take some flights in Simulator . It's right in the DJI Go App .
