Does anyone know the changelog between RC Fw 1.4.30 and 1.5.70.

While there is a way to guess plane Fw changes there is absolutely no hint or documentation of RC Fw changes.

Basically RC Fw 1.4.30 does still work with any plane Fw. So what is NEW and has been changed with RC Fw 1.5.70 ???

I dont like to update stuff where there is absolutely no information about what it changes - especially as DJI always tries to hide the drawbacks of each upgrade..........

You hit the nail on the head with that one.  

I don't know what you mean about hiding what's in the updates.  Whenever there's an update the changes are always in the release notes.
You just have to take an extra few seconds and scroll down the page some. There's nothing to hide.
Here's the link to the firmware download page AND the link to the release notes. And if there's no mention of RC changes, then nothing was changed in the RC software.

So what you are saying is as there are no RC changes mentioned in the changelog that

C1_FW_V01.05.0070.bin

C1_FW_V01.04.0030.bin

C1_FW_V01.03.00.21.bin


are basically the same some chinese just likes playing with numbers




Besides can you point me to the changelog where it is written:

- exp settings influence max speed since Fw 1.5

- panorama mode wind compensation added in 1.5

- panorama mode wind compensation withdrawn in 1.6 lol

----- I would request a list which modes use wind compensation and which not for each firmware ----------------

- maximum hight callback from plane to RC since 1.5 (no override possible anymore)

- geofence database probably already installed with 1.6 (as some 1.7 downgraders dont get the zones away when using 1.6)

- channel reduction from 32 to 8 in 1.08- speed reductions with 1.3 or 1.4

- orbit radius limitation to 500m with callback from plane in 1.4............................


The Inspire was flying much better BEFORE Fw 1.3 and newer firmware added some (necessary) features, many rediculous limitations and never made it back to flying stable like before


I assume hundreds more hidden changes we just dont know because you will only discover them in certain situations.

Thats the problem with DJI - all notes and docs and also the information you supporters get from china are propaganda from the marketing bureau NOT information from the technicians.  Would also be hard to get as there are DIFFERENT people working on firmware, software and SDK so it starts already with the communication problem as three different teams are developing.

DJI reduced maximum speed to 18 m/s vs the 22m/s I bought it with and for. This is NEW with 1.5.030 after they connected max speed to exp  settings before already. BEFORE installing Fw 1.5.030 I could still fly 22m/s when setting exp to 80% but now its downgraded to 18m/s at 80% to 15m/s at 20%.

There is of course no word in the changelog about it.


.............. the max speed - exp connection itself started with 1.5.011 and of course no word about this also anywhere. This is a severe change of flying behaviour! Most pilots probably upgraded from 1.4.010 to 1.5.030 and probably this is completely new to them and likely 90% of pilots didnt even realize this until now because there is no word anywhere about this.

Under which firmware? I tested in Simulator with 1.5.030 no way it goes more then 18 m/s even in ATTI.

I know this page - but it does not answer my question. I definitely can not go more then 18 m/s anymore since I installed 1.5.030.

Inspire has been significantly degraded ever since V1.3
It's been downhill ever since - and silence from DJI. Very frustrating!

I installed 1.6.040 now and the max speed is as follows:

GPS: depending von exp settings 20%: 15m/s - 80% 18m/s
ATTI: always 18m/s

it was the same with Fw 1.5.030 BEFORE at least with exp 80% I got the 22 m/s.

please advice how to get the advertised 22m/s which you basically confirmed as max speed


PS. I will probably make a video of the flight rec showing speed and joystick output to prove that its true

I do apologize, I found out that you are correct in the max speed of 18m/s
I sent an email to have the website corrected.

Every website, reivew, etc that I have read have the max speed as 22 m/s.  I think this should prob be a statement release / redaction from DJI..... Not just a quick change on the website so that you will have different information posted than ALL OF YOUR DISTRIBUTORS.....  Just my .02
