Original P3 holder mount is plastic. The Inspire 1 is METAL. Because of the weight of the Air2, no matter how much I tightened the original plastic mount, it was just not stable. The METAL mount base provides the firm stability that the Air2 requires for its weight.

OK I see that now , I think that 's what Bryan was talking about,
replacing the plastic with metal.

I will look into that is it expensive?
Because I'm afraid the way this thing moves around that it might snap off!

Correct! Bryan mentioned the TACO which is just the bracket fro $18, while the DJI includes everything for $30. If you get the DJI and aren't ordering more than $150 for free shipping, get it from a vendor in the US that offers free shipping like Adorama or B&H Photo. Ebay also has a variety of offerings to Choose From.

Yes I agree with Bryan and Terry, a metal replacement bracket really helps a lot (I use a Nexus 9 which is also rather bulky).  There is an even cheaper & simpler version in cast aluminum on ebay under the heading "Metal Iron CNC Mobile Device Holder for Phantom 3 or Inspire 1". It also works well. However, I would take care not over tighten any metal bracket on the Phantom controller's plastic case.

I have the nexus 10 and the airpad2 they both work great except with the sun hood on its very heavy and shakes around a lot I'm always afraid its going to brake the bracket. Looking into the metal bracket replacement but cant find one I like. The tablet holders look solid but cumbersome and the metal bracket are stronger but not wide enough to stop all the side to side motion. {:3_57:}

A friend of my found a new bracket online it only comes from China but he said its rock solid BETTER then the Inspire bracket if you can believe that!
Waiting to see a picture of it but he said its is perfect even with a 10" screen and sun shade, I have my reservations...We will see

A Black CNC Mount Display Holder Bracket for DJI Phantom 3&Inspire 1 Controller
This is the one i bought.This comes in two parts but when its bolted together its rock solid.
At the front of the mount its square,when tightened up onto the controller,it pulls down flat to the controller face and not just the screw threads.

Never mind I see it now sorry.
My friend sent me a picture of the one he also purchased from China (same one).

Said he had to wait over a month to get it, now he sees it for sale with a seller right here in the US
with two day delivery sure beats waiting a month and no chance of it getting lost.
He said its better then the inspire bracket because it has a wider base no side to side shaking.

I ordered mine from the US supplier, will be here in two days!!!
Perfect just what I was looking for all this time.

I dont know why DJI did that plastic mount ,  also in the standard version they switch from  aluminium phone holder (p2v+) to plastic ,  
and it shakes a lot , im going to buy one of those aluminium holder  for a tablet

I do not know if they send them to Guatemala
but you can buy them here in the USA now you do not have to order from China

I went with the Jrelecs® Metal Iron Mobile Device Holder for Phantom 3 & inspire 1. It has the longer bolt but does not have the wide foot for $13.50. It is much more stable with my Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6".

Just an update I heard about; the old stability bracket does not fit on the new P4
However, they are coming out with a new one next week that will fit the P4 and the Inspire also!

The only problem with  the bracket is the hole that closest  to the sticks is taped for a 3 MM screw, the P4 has a 4 MM screw. I used a 4 MM tap and all is good.
