Hi Guys,
I want to buy a back pack for my phantom 3 ,

i know the clasic ones the DJI , but i dont like those because i want to carrie my laptop also or maybe other stuff ,
what do you recomend me , i was seaching on the internet and i i find this

also why this this is so expensive , the previus like , is a bag of $100 usd and this is $265, is just because of the dji logos ?

Haven't used either of those and really can't understand why the 2nd is so expensive...however, 1 thing I do not like about those is they are soft sided and your phantom could take a beating in them without having form-fitted foam or poly to protect your quadcopter.

I personally think this is a very nice case and probably has all the room you  need for a laptop, etc (yes, also a bit pricey, but good quality)

Thanks , is kind of expensive for me , but may be is one of the best solution , thanks i going to think about it and may be i going to get it

i just going to wait may be more people comment about the and i get other options

Personally I use a Vanguard Up-Rise pack, but have a look at the Phantom Help webpage; they have a lot of options listed.

Totally agree, it is pretty expensive.

You got it right... find one that fit your needs.

I got a classic DJI because I wanted the hard-shell and wanted to make sure it would fit in all air lines as carry on.

I did a ton of trail with it this holiday season and it gave me zero problems.

I use it, it is comfortable on my back.  The shape isn't exactly like that.  It is more defined as the shape of the foam insert.  I have worn it on many hikes and climbs and been 100% pleased with it.  As soon as it snows, I will be snow shoeing and xc skiing with it on.

it have really nice looking , but you are able to carry only the quad , you can carry your laptop with you . mmm and also the first reason that i dong get the backpack is because , there is some dangerous places.
like when you are in open areas, and people saw that big DJi logo they quickly try to stole the quad
its really bad , i heard some stories about that so that's why im afraid and i want to get a normal backpack without logos

I just went to Brazil for xmas... it was freaking dangerous on many locations.

You can hide as much as you want but eventually you will need to open and take the quad out. What then?

Nobody looked at me until I had to open it... nobody had a clue what DJI was.

My huge tablet was in another bag with digital microphones, ND filters and bunch of other things so, I didn't need to keep the note with it.

My point is, think well and get what you need/want.

If somebody is going to steel from you, the bag won't make a difference... on my opinion.

Nice point of view ,

its a really nice bag when you  are traveling with your car , but in my case i like to go to wild areas like Volcanoes or Mountains ,  once im in the top of a 3 or 4km mountain is safe to fly , no one is going to stole the quad  in that place jeje  , but what i dont want is to  to walk  with the big DJI logo in my back  jeje in that kind of places so i trying to get something that looks like a normal backpack  ,  something that make the people thing that im just with clothes  and food , i think that this one is really good

Well, I disagree.  I purchased the backpack for the P2V+.  When I got the P3P I tried it and it fit perfectly.  I would not tell you I had a backpack to carry my quad and give a link to said product if the quad didn't fit in the backpack.  Suit yourself.  It is very sturdy and even on the hardest climbs (rock face) I have never worried about damage to my quad.  The sides are rigid, not soft; room enough to carry all I need and all the extras (including a Macbook Pro); adjustable straps make it fit snugly so as not to ride on the hips or ribs/shoulders.

It's expensive because it's a rebranded Manfroto.  Good brand and they make quality stuff but they are not cheap. I have a couple of their tripods. You really can't beat them. They make another bag that I just got for my phantom. It's a nice fit and even holds my DSLR and 300 lense.   Here's the link. Still expensive but a well made

The hard shell DJI backpack is really good and it also can hold your iPad as well. Just lift the top foam out and your iPad will fit nicely in there

Are there any backpacks out there that meet the standard airline carryon size of 22"x14"x9"?  It looks like the hardshell DJI backpack looks like the best fit that I've seen so far.  Any other recommendations?

If anyone out there is on a budget, it looks like GearBest.com has a lot of options at low cost. The downside is that they are in China so you'll have to wait a while for it to arrive.

I use a Dakine camera backpack - Size : 21 x 11 x 8".  Holds my P3P, four batteries, charger, controller, iPad, extra props, first-aid kit, sunshade, cables, etc.  I prefer the standard backpack look - but mostly because like nrgwise, I go hiking into the mountains with it.

I have the DJI backpack. It looks nice but i use it sometimes for a 2 hour trip and it feels also fine on my back.

But, I did not regret to get a hard-shell in the plane when people come with their carryon searching for empty space.

Not a waist strap but a chest strap.

I have bought dji hardshell backpack high recommend is compact and strong. when u like to bring your notebook please buy good quilty backpack form dji or think tank, manfrotto.
