Sorry if this has been answered.... or it's too obvious.   

I, too, have been waiting patiently for my INSPIRE 1 to land...and have been watching jealously all the unboxing videos.

However, none of the videos I have seen so far showed the "packing back" of a just-flown INSPIRE 1.  

I've read the manuals also and did not read of any instructions on how to get the craft back into the pack mode to be kept in the case.

Anyone can enlighten us?

From dji pilot software there is a function called travel mode you press the button and....vuala!!!! The inspire transform for packing alone!!!! download the app for android (is available for free download and if you dont have inspire) and explore it..Its super easy either the calibration for controller and inspire is inside the software!!!Just a button and follow on the instructions!!!

You can also cycle the LG switch on the Tx four times to activate/deactivate Travel Mode.
Be sure the cam/gimbal is removed...

what's more, please put I1 on the flat ground during packaging.

Be sure to use a low friction surface. I'd suggest the toP of the case.

Does anyone know how to set the inspire in travel mode manually?

I bought a landing mode case.  Remove props, and place inspire in the case.   Yes, I'm lazy    But I also think it eliminates a lot of wear and tear on the gimbal.
