Yeah you are mostly correct but this is very well suited for someone who doesn't leave LOS, has a smaller budget and requires more redundancy.  Its a fabulous deal and hopefully will force DJI to modify pricing a smudge.  The real question is the camera because at the end of the day, who cares if it is cheap and comes with everything, if the video quality is garbage then it doesn't really matter.

I totally agree with your comments. There are some nice features but in a nut shell if the video or pics suck whats the point of buying it.

Some times specs are not everything. Only some hands on testing will tell. We have two of it's big brothers the Tornado H920  here for testing. Hopefully we'll get to test the Typhoon too

Sorry but after looking at the few videos online of the Typhoon H I'm not convinced that its a better drone. In fact, most of the videos that I reviewed show a lot of propeller in the shot. I would just hate to film nice and smooth and then all of a sudden a gust of wind hits the H making the props show up on my shot. Not good. I give credit to Yuneec on a nice looking hex but it still has more room to grow.
