As a cinematographer shooting with a 12.5 stop dynamic range cameras is not much, when picking the right time a day and lighting conditions and use proper filtration can make a big difference.
Here are some test I have been doing with the X5 camera with different lenses.
For now I used the following glass :
[size=14.6667px]15mm f1.7 DJI
[size=14.6667px]45mm f1.8 Olympus
[size=14.6667px]14-42 Zoom Olympus
[size=14.6667px]+ ND and POLA
I also did some test with D-Log and other modes I will post some of the resuls in future videos, stay tooned!!Aerial cinematography examples shot By: DP Diego Torroija with a DJI Inspire 1 Pro Drone.

Hey Vonbaron1,
Thanks for watching the video man,
Make sure you see link in 4K by clinking in the bottom right (youtube).
Also the grade has a small blur vignette to get a DOF effect.
But I'm not sure I understand what you are saying
I don't have the x5... and I only have the neutral density filter that came with the inspire. Any recommendations for these combos? Thanks for any suggestions.
Great shooting! A lot of it looks a bit longer lens than the X3, too. For me, that's what makes the X5 stand out. Obviously dynamic range is huge, but the longer focal length KILLS the look of the X3...it takes it from a "just a drone shot" to a cinematic move. Nice work.
I had never seen the use of a blur vignette to create a tilt shift effect around a center framed subject. Very interesting. A new tool for the tool box. Thank you.
Nice........ Its funny, as a Broadcast Engineer, for years and years I took on the attitude that the picture had to be sharp as sharp and exactly true to color....anything less than that was sub standard and something was wrong.
These days after shooting Stuff, Doco's , TV shows etc etc, I now see The Cinematic look of the picture.....and now if its too sharp I think something is wrong lol.....nice grade and filtering there

Really? Haven't you ever bought a new TV and brought it home and when you turn on a flick it has a strong red push, vibrant colors and perfect sharpness and you get that "soap opera" effect? It's the dirty little problem of digital video. It took the industry about ten years to get video to look anything like film and motion blur is a neccesity.
Turn off all of your things on your TV that remove motion blur for cinematic effect. Tru motion and all that shit.
GREAT VISEO by the way brother!!
ThenX5 is amazing for its size and low lightings just fantastic. I would be impressed with just the individual frames of what I'm about to post (or at least pleased with)' and I would think it was shot with a long exposure ok a tripod and its video.
Check this out. Don't forget to go watch at YT in HD. The X5 is surprisingly good.
Thats what I am saying.........TV, Movies whatever are more of an Art form these days, which is at the opposite side of the room to technical perfection....... you will never see a movie that has perfect rendition like you see with the naked eye........ a very very different feel altogether.
Camera's these days have surpassed technical ability and are now having to have defects inbuilt to promote the Art Form..... LUTs etc
Having said that though, when we send an OB van out to a job, say for a sporting event, customers want no mood at all in the main program material, they want it to look like you are sitting in the stands at the venue, but the playoffs to ad breaks etc go back into the artform again.
