First, I want to say I am reallyenjoy flying my P2V+.
I have a question out of curiosity, howmany batteries’ do you have for your Phantom? I currently have three and thinkI need a few more plus an additional charger.
Again, I like to hear how manybatteries’ you take with you go flying and shooting video or a day hike, etc…
Also, Is there away to reformat micro SD cardin the app?
i dont know about formatting but i thought i saw the ability to delete individual items in the sdcard album within the app so you could at least accomplish the same effect as a format with a few extra steps.
question then about battery firmware (i have 2 and 2 on the way). do i have to insert each one into my phantom and connect to the app in order to keep them updated? i assumed so but since i have only used 1 of them so far, i thought i would ask.
The little gear right below the video camera, tap that. On the left you will see a column open, use finger to go to the bottom of that column and tap the sd card icon, that will format the sd card in the camera.

That is what I was looking for, thank you Gerry1124.
When you use a new card in the camera, you should always formatit before using.
Most people don't understand the difference between erasing allthe photos on a memory card and formatting it. You should format your memorycard at least twice a year, depending on how often you use it. But why would you want to format the card asopposed to erasing the pictures?
When you're constantly using the card, you're going to graduallywear down its performance. Erasing the photos won't help. You need to formatthe card occasionally to start with a fresh slate. It takes a little longerthan erasing, but it is a great maintenance habit to get into. It's also veryeasy, when you know where the format funtion is .
