Hello,

Today I had a weird flight. I have flown here before with 14-16 sats and my status bar was always been green. Safe to fly GPS. This time around however it seemed like from the log that when it dropped from 16 to 15 sats, the status bar turned yellow and said safe to fly non GPS. I thought that means atti mode so I expected some drift. Turn the drone to face away from me to get ready to manually control the drift but nothing.  So my question is why is the app making me freak out but changing the status bar color when I still got 15 sats. Also what is the difference between atti mode and safe to fly non GPS. I thought they were the same but my copter was able to hold position.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Atti mode is the same as Safe to fly - Non-GPS.
Sounds like your Phantom was giving a false alarm.

in atti mode aircraft will not use GPS at all. in "No GPS Safe to fly"  it will use GPS as soon as it gets strong GPS signal

Sounds like a temporary glitch in the GPS signal is all.  Better to be warned sooner & be concerned than later & not have a clue IMO.
