I updated the software to v1.8 and now when I turn it on it doesn't do anything. The motors do not activate and the dji app(iOS) no longer recognizes it.
When I try to plug it back into my Mac via USB it says "IMU must be upgraded".
I saw somewhere that dji sent some people a v1.9 beta to force the IMU upgrade but I haven't got a response from them yet.
We have a similar issue but are using PC for the update. We updated last night to 1.8 and everything just stopped working. The Ronin is unresponsive and the IOS app seems to connect but doesn't allow any changes.
Hi, Andrew, if you encountered the same issue, please email support@dji.com and ask Cathy for help, or you leave me your email address so that I can contact you to do further check, thanks a lot!
Have similar problem. DJI Ronin unresponsive when powered on. Motor Kill switch is always on when I view with Gimbal APP, iOS or Android. Motors are not engaged and I cannot Calibrate System since it detects Motor Kill on even when I switch it off. Have had numerous issues with the Ronin and has embarrassed me several times. I am far away from the U.S. to be able to have it repaired. I want to exhaust every possible avenue to solve before I give up. I have reset settings on all platforms still no way forward. Is it possible to downgrade firmware. GCU is currently is 1.0 and IMU is 3.1. Also, Live Data values display once and freeze until power cycle or App restart.
Please anyone help if you can. My email is leokessie@gmail.com. I received initial response from Brian but nothing more.
