What are the files on an Android device that define the geofence positions and how do you alter them so your Phantom believes there are no geofence zones?

The information is not in the Android device, they are in the aircraft. And you can't get at them.

So, am I right in thinking that taping kitchen foil to the top of the drone will prevent GPS lock and therefore render the geofence system useless? The drone would then be able to take off in no fly zones and the only difference would be that you would effectively have to use it in Atti mode which, lets face it, on a calm day is hardly any different to GPS mode apart from RTH won't work.

Given that some tape and foil completely defeat the geofence system, I have to ask, what's the point in enforcing it?

download Disable Services from play store
open it
find dji go
untick flyforbidupdateservices and say goodbye to geo-fence. All yellow and red zones disappears.
