Hi All,
This is my first post here, and my first time extensivley looking into the Spreading Wings series of quads.

I'm looking into some professional level cinematography and I would like to use the Panasonic Lumix GH4 with the Z15-GH4 gimbal, on a DJI S900. The only issue is that I Dont know what flight controller, remote controller, batteries and any other parts I would need. I Would like to have stable GPS, at least 15-20mins of flight time, DJI Lightbridge (1st edition) from the GH4, and to a iPad Air 2 (For Pilot to Monitor) and Small HDMI Screen on the ground. And a second remote to have full 360 pan, tilt and focus control over the camera, and they would be the one to use the HDMI Screen.

I Just dont know what other parts, wires, or stuff I would need. Also, where would I Mount this stuff, and would this be a good platform for aerial cinematography?

I Have a very large budget, aswell.

Thanks!

The A2 and Futaba 14SG would be good for your s900. But I would not recommend the Lightbridge 1.

Because a Futaba flight computer seems good for you. I have used a Futaba 18MZ for hexacopters.

Note: They cost upwards of $2500-3000. If that is too expensive for you then you can see if the Inspire 1 controller would work with a S900.

The Futaba 8FG Super is more than capable of running the A2 and it has FASST, so it connects right to A2 built-in receiver. You can find a used transmitter in the $200-250 range.

The most reliable is the Connex hd video transmitter but if you want to stick DJI go lightbridge 2. Defo don't use the Lightbridge 1....

A very professional setup is either the S900, S1000, or Inspire Pro and better than that is the X5R.
What's great about the Inspire in you have all the camera controls in the app and don't have to land to make adjustments.
Up to I think 7 remotes can get video from the lightbridge so you can have several people with remotes and tablet see the video and can even plug into the HDMI port and display onto a monitor or TV.

Plus the portability of it, can hold about 7 batteries, your aircraft, two remotes and tablets in a small suitcase.
And the longer flight times too.

I am looking into the same thing, do I get an Inspire Pro or build a S900. for me and me only, it makes more sense to use the Inspire. If I coulf find find sit to be a lot less expensive to build then I'd probably do that BUT I'm finding deals but not like the incredible deal DJI has going right now on the Inspire.
