Hi, in NAZA mode you can set S1 for return home,  S2  only has 2 active settings and of course off in the upper position. (off,CL and HL.)

Mine has a 3 position switch, top middle and bottom. What version have you got? A bit more info might help.

S2 switch has three positions. When activated in NAZA-M mode, they are typically IOC Off - Course Lock - Home Lock

Sounds like a defective switch then.

When you run it through the calibration sequence in Phantom2 Assistant, what does does it show?

When you have the switch all the way to the top and move it 1 click to the center, then 1 more click to the bottom, you have 3 positions.

It will not switch to third position, so does not show in calibration.

So, you're only feeling and hearing just 1 click?

Absolutely! Any new r/c controls out there to confirm only 2 positions on S2?

It's a defective switch. All new DJI transmitters have both switched S1 and S2 as three-position switches.

Surprised to hear that, guess I best open up r/c to confirm. Hate to have to send it away though. Thanks for the input.

Cheers

Sorry to hear that, the guys are right , this should be a 3 position switch.  But just for reference make sure you have read Gerry's posting on the switch functions.  You can only use S1 for RTH- not  s2. and you must be in NAZA mode for this function to work.

S2 only has two functions course lock and home lock.  Best of luck with this, keep us updated. (could it be that DJI have done away with the off position without telling anyone?)

Hi again. Just identified that both switches are identical inside r/c, so figured what the heck, i'll force the issue! Switch did not want to give in,but I won. Now after vigorous finger workout function is free. Confirmed this on app. and home lock now functional! All's well that ends well, thanks again.
