Is there a DJI simulator app for Android that works with the controller?

Yes. The last time I looked it was available as part of the developers SDK. That may have changed now, I'm just not sure if they ever released a public version.

Yes you can now access sim for andoid in settings

Yes, the downside to the simulator is that the drone needs to be powered up (props removed, just in case) for the Sim' to work.

From the home page of DJI Go app, tap the icon in the upper right corner that looks like a graduation cap. The first thing you will see is the simulator. Choose your craft .

Open the go app tap right hand top icon takes you into academy shows flight simulator above user manuals you must connect your bird and controller to implement remember to remove your props.. and away you go.Agood way to test different applications and settings on rainy days.

In the iOS Go app SIM, I find I can fly higher-farther-faster, if I leave the props On the drone... ;-)
