I have just gotten my Phantom 3 standard this past week. i have been flying and learning. I been able to enable Multiple Flight Mode on the DJI Go app but eh Enable IOC will not activate, it remains grayed out. also the Reset IOC does not seem to do anything either. any ideas? have i turned something off or on that i should not have? also i have tried the controller in the A and F postions with the same results. any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The Phantom has to be flying to make it active.

Correct, you need to be flying to make the modes work.

I found that "IOC enable" should be "OFF" in advanced settings before take off

It would be helpful if they updated the dji go app with a little text line under IOC that explains this.  I eventually figured it out but I'm sure more people were confused by this.

thank you everyone. it took me a little while being relatively new to drones but finally figured that out too along with many of the other features. now if they will just make a software/app for a PC (laptop) it would be even better.  anyway, thank you all for the guidance.
