My DJI go app on IOS device has a Cache map in background setting in general settings but my app on my android tablet does not. It says something about China map.
Anyone know what is going on with this?

If you scroll down lower you will see video cache on your Android.
The three options are:
Cache locally when recording
Auto cleanup video cache
And clear video cache.
Then the very last one is the About, and that tells you what version all your equipment is on.

Ken I think he was referring to MAPS not video.

I am having similar problem with the GO APP 2.60.
I have searched and still can not find anything in any of the major forums.

Google does not allow me to download satellite view offline maps on my TAB S2.  Don't know how to cache them for offline use.... Anyone have any suggestions on how this can be done now with the new 2.60 and Android?

No, totally different.  I have the same issue, DJI Go app on my iPhone has a 'cache maps' option, which is great if you're not using mobile data whilst flying.  My Android tablet doesn't have this option in the DJI Go app. Very annoying.

Android does not have a on/off button and is always on. So just do the same as you would on IOS. Move the map to the area you want to fly at and zoom in and then that area is cached and when you power up at that location you will have detailed map data.

Different topic entirely - probably best to start your own thread = more chance of an appropriate answer ;)
