After DJI GO auto upgrade today, I notice that all the maps are offset about 500m south to my original locations in the flight records in my sony z2. They show all fine in my iPad. Does anyone know why?

Strange, Can you try a approved device on Android and see if you get the same offset.
I am updated and both my iPad Air and Samsung S6 show the identical location. The travel distance is the only thing that's different and it's only off by 1/2ft.

Pretty much mostly for X5 features,

Yes, it is strange. My Sony Z2's flight records back to normal after I used it to fly this morning. But my other test device Samsung S3 is still offsetting even after sync the new flight record. It seem that it need to fly once per device after the upgrade to adjust the offset.

thats mean p3p can stay with 2.5.1 or 2.5.0

It may be because what I said earlier, you need at least a S5 for the app to work correctly.

If you turn off auto updates then you can stay on the app version you are using. BUT, DJI recommends being on the latest version of the app.
