Wow, sounds like my guy actually knew what he was talking about. Let's hope I'll get an e-mail tomorrow.

Happy to say my inspire will be arriving tomorrow afternoon. Im in DC and its currently sitting in Baltimore MD. a 50 minute drive, the anticipation is killing me!

My single controller unit just arrived at my door! I ordered on 11-12-2014 before the DJI live stream announcement was even made.

which carrier did they use - Fedex, our UPS?

Just got my single controller unit today.  Anyone want to buy it?  Just what i paid for it.  Realized I really needed 2 controller package.  My shoot is not until mid Feb.  In Midtown Manhattan.

Are you flying indoors or out? NYC is a no-fly-zone for so very many reasons...

Thanks.  Shoot is in the Bahamas actually.  I already have the order in for the 2 remote version.  Just offered it up for sale in case anyone was really desperate to get one ASAP.   I haven't opened it yet and will probably just return it to B&H when the 2 remote order comes.

Jan 8  3:15 PM EST -I just got off the phone with B&H about my order which included 2 remotes.  I was told that my order had not shipped because the 2nd remote was on back order.  He said he could ship out the Inspire 1 with the one remote and later ship the 2nd remote when it becomes available.  I chose that option and he said my order would ship tomorrow.  I then inquired about the complimentary hard case that is listed in the Inspire 1 "What Is In The Box" document which I had downloaded with the Owner's Manual and Quick Start Guide.  He said he had no knowledge of that and put me on hold while he contacted his buyer.  When he came back on the line, he reported that his buyer confirmed that the Inspire 1 and all accessories are shipped in the hard case.  The guy spent about 15 minutes with me on the phone and could not have been more accommodating. That is why I have been a customer of theirs for 40 years.

I received a shipment notification yesterday Wednesday from B&H and received my Inspire today. All opened up and I am very impressed, well worth the wait. My only problem is that I an in RI and it is minus one degrees. COLD!!! As a note I did look at the Amazon Dealers and spoke with the Copter Shop and they had 11 left to ship. I don't know if B&H has extras, they may. The larger Batteries for the Inspire cannot go by Air due to the capacity of the larger LI-Po Battery. The batteries will have to go by land and sea. May be a while guys!

I've got a dual on order with B&H that they are telling me should arrive next week (but obviously that may not turn out to be accurate).  I'm currently debating whether I should have ordered the single version. If you want to chat, maybe we can work something out.

Thanks to you letting me know this was even an OPTOIN, I too spent 15 mins on the phone with B&H -- the 2nd remote and the batteries are backordered, but the single-remote Inspire is in stock.  I asked them to ship it as-is and fill in the rest (remote and batteries) when they are available.  B&H Said OK and it's shipping out tomorrow (I wish I saw this post earlier and called because it would ship TODAY and be DELIVERED tomorrow!)

I ordered my on 2nd Feb directly from the DJI Store and I received a call from DJI that mine will be in the 3rd pre-order shipment and I will expect mine to arrive in Singapore before end of this month or earlier.......

Ok, so for some reason it didn't ship the next day, but after I called again today they kicked shipping up to 2 day air and it's on it's way now.

Very exciting!

(and yes, even though it's late, I am still a happy B&H customer)

They still did not get any Dual controllers in. The extra TB47 battery I've ordered will also delay my shipment

Skillet.... None of that will hold up your order at B&H. Ask to talk with an airial specialist, they will get permission from the buyer to split your order and ship you a single remote unit now. It took me three calls on three days to get them to take care of this and ship my unit. They have great customer service but, most don't know this is an option.

B&H will ship what they have in stock unless you specified that you would only accept a complete order. If you didn't  what they have is probably on the way to you at the time that you read this. At one time they would not accept an order if they didn't have the product.

B&H is no longer shipping DJI products outside US. Do you know the reason? is there any restriction or problem on DJI products now...?

Is it safe to buy DJI products on classifieds or other sites that are not the original site ?  I was on this classifieds website and I saw someone offering DJI products on there and it kind of took me off guard because I know there are so many scammers out there especially on Craigslist. Was I right to be afraid or not ?  My friend purchased some of the products and I absolutely loved them. I guess I may be wrong to always try to look for discounts on other platforms but if no ligit products were sold on third party sites such as the one I mentioned above , then that'd be great to know. So many scammers posting fake ads out there, I learned to always watch out for those.

There are plenty of legitimate sites. I prefer B&H because I have been using them for over 30 years and never had an issue. I am sure there are other reputable Dealers out there.The only thing with classifieds is that you really have to be  careful and realize that you will have no Warranty.
