I was wondering if anyone has printed images from an I1 Pro and if so what is the largest you are able to go without losing quality.  I have an upcoming job where the client wants 24X36" prints on a monthly basis and I didn't know if the Pro is capable of this.  I may be able to do them with my S900/GH4 but would rather use the I1 Pro as it is much easier to transport/setup etc,.  Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, max resolution of the images is 4608x3456 pixel so you can print it at 300 dpi (15,36 x 11,52"); you can print a 24x36" image at 128 dpi that is enough for that  big print.

Thanks Leo!  Is there a formula or rule of thumb to figure that out?  I don't do many prints and it is always a gray area when I do.

Thanks Leo!  Is there a formula I can use to figure this out in the future?  I don't do prints often but every time I do it seems to be a murky gray area.  I know the X3 does not print well above 11x14 at least in my experience.

you can divide the dimensions of the image with the resolution you want to print it. Hi-res print usually are between 240/300 pixel per inch. In the case of the images produced by the Inspire is:

4680pixel/300pixel per inch = 15,36 inches.

I usually use Adobe Photoshop to work with my images but there are a lot of sites online that you can use as a quick reference, for example: convert pixel to inches

Thank you again, I use both photoshop and lightroom but just don't do many prints.  And usually when I do a print it's from my Sony A7RII which is sufficient to print huge copies with no problems.
