Need update firmware for P2 and P2 Vision Plus, I thought DJI would at least support firmware but if this is the case I'm not going for a P3 Pro but instead going to get a 3dr Solo.

Why do you need firmware update?  DJI has abandoned the P2V+.  Nothing new since last year.

Homer, are you talking about the DJI Vision app or the Phantom firmware. What version did it update to.

The only update that would have been out a week ago is an iOS and/or Android Ap,
There have been no firmware updates for the Phantom 2's since the spring of last year.

caution though from what I have been reading about wifi issues from it.

If the p2 is working I would just leave as it is for now.

The Phantom2 app update1.0.60 is bricking the range extenders (don't update the app) this is what I have been told. I would just stay with what you have. BUT!! I have been looking and I don't see a app update 1.0.60 for the Phantom2 vision Plus at least not on the DJI's webpage, unless I am over looking it. The last update I see is 1.0.59 (for the app) . The forum where I read this is "Phantompilots.com ", the post title is, "WARNING Android App Version 1.0.60".  Good luck !

DJI seem to be ignoring the P2 users, not sure when they will get their act together!!

Mine is 1.0.61     Android. But I use Litchi and or Ultimate flight instead.

We are still supporting the P2.

have had my P2 (have2) for two years, updated it when I got the, I think it was to 1.1.1 not sure its been so long ago; hundreds of flights on both of them both have all the goodies osc; trans; gimble; monitor; the works; only problem was batteries; never a flyaway or a crash. just thought i'dd add something positive for a change after all the negative stuff on here.

There might be more positive comments if DJI were actually providing some feedback on the range extender problems many folks have had,
It just seems to be getting ignored and for you to chime in and say hey, it is nice to see positive is really off base given nothing has been posted here in weeks on the aforementioned issue....or anything else for that matter....Please prove me wrong!

would be nice to see that DJI have not abandoned products that were only off the shelf a year ago!!
A happy P2 user may not be running out to buy a P3 or P4 right away but surely if they are out flying and happy and someone is asking about their experience, the perspective new user would certainly likely be more wanting to delve further into what DJI had to offer than not!

Yeah, I total understand. I still love flying my P2 with H3-3D. So I would not want DJI to abandon the slighty older products.

So DJI Dave,  It has now been 2 months since the failure/Bricking of WiFi extenders.
Is there any update you can tell us?
I still fly my P2v2.. but my WiFi range is so poor (300-600ft) that I often have to visually monitor the drone til it gets back into wifi range.
If you want  negative feedback, You all are well on your way to scathing Product support reviews..

Please tell us something useful on the WiFi range extender failures!
