You may need to assign a broker or I am sure DHL can broker for you for a nominal fee, you may have to give them official notice to do so on your behalf.

I also ordered directly from dji and my enspire 1 has been stuck at customs for the last 3 days. When I called DHL today they told me they need power of attorney from dji so they can clear customs. I dont know what to do!!!

Same here but as DHL explained is that for items over $2500 they need a special document to clear customs. Power of attorney to dhl so it can be cleared. I emailed onlinesales@dji.com and still waiting.

Yeah just talked to DHL brokerage dpt. They said they attempted to contact the shipper but when I asked how all they had was a physical address on file - ie no phone number or email contact. Doesn't sound like anything is happening...?

I emailed onlinesales@dji.com as well. And I just talked to Ethan in tech support (not his job - and probably already very busy - I know) but he promised to attempt to escalate at DJI for us. (thx Ethan)

Is anyone from DJI cust service monitoring these forums that can assist? You've got an entire country waiting for their inspires due to paperwork... ;-)

The problem is that if I take power of attorney then I would be resposible in paying the taxes and duties, thats what local DHL told me. I dont know what else to do here.

on the FB group an australian sounded like they had a similar issue... but DHL / DJI sorted it out and duty was paid by DJI. frustrating... I know it's nearby just sitting there...

DHL, FED EX, PUROLATOR, ALL SUCK,,, theyve held packages hostage on me many times, whenever i get international deliveries through them, and prepay the shipping, they always come to me with another bill for "their" services, i dont understand it, the post office never does that to me..., i ordered mine through Great Hobbies, and am still waiting also.....

OK I spoke again with DHL again and despite DJI customer service saying that they've been in touch with DHL, DHL has no record of it.

I just sent another note to DJI customer service saying that if I don't get resolution within 24 hours I'm cancelling my order. I don't really see any other option...

First of all DHL is terrible. I have always had problems with them on most everything. Never have a problem with Fedex or UPS. The other issue that you are going to run into and it bothers me is that Canadian Customs is going to open the package and go through it and reseal it. I received my Inspire yesterday and it was packaged excellently. Totally sealed to the point that it had the normal taping and on top of that it had the indestructible half inch web straps around the box both vertically and horizontally.

Hi Fellow Canadian residents.
I ordered my Inspire from a dealer in BC, still waiting for it to arrive also.
You would think this was the first export shipment for DJI.
Where are you guys at with customs, have your orders cleared yet? I am hoping you have some luck..........

I'm having the same problems in the UK. Order shipped, call from DHL demanding GBP212. I contacted DJI who said I didn't need to pay and they'd sort it. Then the parcel was delivered so I thought they had. One moth later I get an invoice from DHL demanding reimbursement of Duty they had paid. Is this DJI scamming us or DHL?

Really sorry about that! I had exactly the same issue - but I'm located in switzerland...
Shippment with DHL and theire customs where not wiling to get clearence for many "non sense" arguments. It stucked for about 6 days and just after writing many complaints to DHL Customer Service, they where able to solve the issues with the customs - that really sucks...
