Just bought a new Phantom 3 advanced and its shipping right now cant wait to receive it. The best part about this deal is i had extra money for accessories. Thanks DJI cant wait to get in the air!!!!

Maybe that's one of the issues some of us are having with 1.6? It just feels sloppy compared to 1.5! I can't say truck though, it's more like a Mitsubishi drifter without the smoke. I used to center frame a poi with 1.5 and it would hold it for minutes. 1.6 is a constant chore to center frame a poi and hold it for any length of time.

I think these Phantom prices will stay even after the 'sale' ends.  The new P4 being announced will be a phantom/inspire hybrid with shared tech and will sit between the Phantom 3 Pro and the Inspire 1 in the range. It will likely be designed on the P3 size and shape but will have Inspire type tech, sensors, props, motors, and a full 360 camera. It'll likely cost round £1300-£1500 and will go on sale around May/June........
DJI need to slow down and focus on improving their supply chain, meeting current orders that are long overdue and generally improving their customer service. New tech is great but not when 3 other tech announcements have failed to materialise.  New competitors offer better customer service but their products lack the DJI magic. Don't take customers for granted.  

$999 for a Phantom 3p seems a good deal. The same deal is costing us Europeans €1199. Where's the good in that ??  That's a difference of € 200 ?!

yep i picked up an Advanced to add to the Standard.  

I thought I read something about a zoom lens on the new Phantom.  Am i wrong?  I guess we'll find out.

It is confirmed that the phantom 4 will be announced on March 1 for around $1700, but there is not a lot of information about specs and features yet. But yes it is confirmed.

i'm more and more confused about the two choices: buy a p3p right now and save €200 or wait the p4p.
I'm not a pro film maker and use the drone for pleasure in free time and some video/shooting as a real estate consultant.
The most important specs I expect in new phantom are the anti collision system to be used in indoor shooting and  360 gimbal.
What's your advice?

Within two days my prediction of the prices being extended came true. P3 clear out it would seem.  

DJI should have a last minute before the release of the Phantom 4 special.  Like Phantom 3 Professional for $899.00 US limited time only!

I wonder if the Phantom 4's camera is going to be significantly better for stills? Anyone hear any rumors on that? I'm mainly getting into this for photography, and I'm sure some video down the line.

I bit on the P3P for now... $999 with $100 off coupon so $899... Hard to beat that. I just hope the Live View works unlike the P3A I returned.

Would have ordered a p3p at once, if there wasn't a new model coming so soon..  Got a 10% off voucher from  participating in the Rally contest, which works on the 10th anniversary price too.

I bought mine at Best Buy -currently going for $999, and I had a 10% off coupon because I just moved into a new neighborhood (where I am everyone sent me welcome coupons - no idea how they had my address change info).

Anyhow the 10% took $100 off of it so I'm not complaining.

I'm wanting to get the package with extra battery, props and a hardshell backpack. Going to wait a few more weeks to see what happens with the Phantom 4

I figure if the P4 is so amazing that it was a huge mistake buying the P3P I will still be able to return it. In the meantime I will be able to learn how to fly the thing. With the rumored price of 1700 that's a bit out of my drone budget but we'll see...

Just at the right time!  I just lost my P3 Standard and this discount comes at the right time for me to get the Professional.

Hi I just recently bought P3 advance if I had known that P4 is coming then would have waited for it. My advice is I think you should wait for the P4 or order one now. You are going to get a lot more with P4. My favourite is obstacle avoidance.

Picked myself a P3 advance too,thought it was a better deal n I m more than fine with 2.7k. Rest it same as P3 pro n I could spent the extra £200 savings on backpack or batteries. I am happy.
