The guy selling it should have called DJI with the serial number.  They may have a record of who it was sold to.

Well that is illegal. He needs to hand it in to the local police station and it will be his if it is unclaimed.

Ouch yes theft by finding. He should have handed it in to local authorities then after a month claimed it if no one else did. Then he could have sold it ;)

I wonder if you could report him to Ebay for selling something that is registered? Maybe not.
