I apologize if this was already covered. Banking the Inspire occurs with just yaw input or yaw and roll input?

There's never a stupid question but if your having to ask about banking the aircraft. I recommend getting a cheap quad copter and practice on that before flying the inspire one!!!! So when you crash! It's not a matter if you will but when you do it's far cheaper to fix!!!!!..... I know from experience lol....

Thanks Mike. I have a year under my belt with the Phantom. The reason I was asking the question, I read somewhere (possible on this forum) that the A2 controller allows you to do one stick banking maneuvers. Since the Inspire is a new FC based off the A2 I was wondering if it does the same.

that's not a stupid question at all, but the answer is that the I1 fc is not the A2 and does not have that feature, yet. It's certainly possible with a future firmware upgrade.
