My p3 standard was working just fine. Kept telling me to install new firmware. Now the video has black and white stripes while running. Playback is ok but screen is messed up while running

Hi, could you please provide a screenshot of your app? How about the video recording and photos? Could you send a picture in the SD card?

Are you referring to Zebra stripes, which are an Over Exposure Warning?  If it is only on bright parts of the video and not the shadows, this is most likely the case.  It can be turned on and off in the camera menu.
