We need to do some job inside a big metal container, and here we got some mayor interfence with the magnetic field.
The GO App just show Compass Error and when trying to arm(fly) it shows a warning message!

We have Matrice 100, with Guidance, so it shuld be ok to fly the drone with this manualy with use of accelerometer!!??

After talking to your support in Germany and USA, they both say it will fly even with the error, just put it in ATTI Mode, but this doesent help! It still grounded on the ground!

We need this to work, and its VERY important! Maybe some smal adjustment in Firmaware can help? AND ITS IN A HURRY

it is something that is not possible to compute on a Matrice 100 / Guidance system unfortunately as far as i know. There are not enough references and datas to cross in case the compass can not give a heading reference... Self level will not be too much of an issue if you stop reading the compass, but heading will if there are not additional hardware on the machine to help computing this...  
It's exactly the same problem on brushless gimbals without encoders (gravity helps accelerometers on pitch and roll for the self leveling but heading can't be read and even with en encoder you need a physical reference to get it from the frame position  / yaw motor support).
SLAM computing would allow in a limited way to estimate heading eventually..

Hi, you need to calibrate the compass of the aircraft first or it won't take off. Then you will able fly in ATTI mode. But in your case, you need to fly carefully and try to practice previously.

Did you find a way to fly inside of metal containers?

i also want to know if you made it fly?
