Inspire mount here too, installed within the first week and happy as Larry.
Unfortunately I have to agree that this isn't a warranty claim, sorry for your loss.

Check yur home contents insurance if you have that. Not sure what type you get in Ukraine, but 'Personal Possessions' insurance is very common in UK home contents policies, which will usually cover accidental damage to possessions you have on you anywhere outside the home; so if you drop your camera, or have your cellphone stolen, it's covered.  Or in this case, your i-pad.....

You might also get a cheap Android tablet dedicated for flying; I bought a cheap Lenovo tablet specifically for the Phantom.  It was £59 or around $100 and if that breaks, it's no great loss.

Glad you're still smiling....

Did we ever find out how come this happened?
I understand the stabilization bracket that everyone is talking about is great and fixes the problem!
However...why did this happen?

Chris any updates?

DJI is a great company, what makes them special is they actually listen to their customers,
with each revision to the Phantom they make improvements that is why the P4 has a metal mount instead of plastic.

Metal mounts are more stable then plastic...and some metal mounts are better then others...but I won't talk about that I promised.

So yes the story is true to my best understanding, however there is a back story.
The customer who this happen too didn't like the way the IPad was shaking about and over tightened and stripped out the screws on the plastic bracket.
A bump was all it took to break it loose from the controller.
