In October I bought a Yuneec Typhonne and soon sent it back for the DJI Phantom 3 Pro. It is a great machine and I have done many flights with it.  Recently I sent it in because as I was flying and a ESC failed and the unit tilted and flew across the yard and luckily landed in some high grass. The battery had ejected out of the copter when I retrieved it. When I got it home I found that the M2 ESC was not funtioning and my phone gave me a Bad ESC notice. AS well the Gimbal Yaw arm was slightly bent. After sending it in I receved a bill for $437 and later was told that the flight log showed a motor stop. WELL.... I assure you it was not a motor stop. The copter flipped to it side and Flew across the yard untill it hit the ground and the battery Poped out. DJI does not wnt to hear my side of the story, but just want the money to fix it or they will send the broken unit back. I have contacted my dealer and he says this is the way they are and offerd to pay for half the repair. I am STILL trying to talk with a LEAD about this, but they will not bend on the Log files which do NOT tell the true stoy of what happened. I have been flyin and building multis for the last 3 years and do Aerial Photograghy for a part time living. It is sad that a company like DJI will not give ANYONE the benifit of the Duobt. I have heard of a few good experiences..... but not many. SHAME on DJI.  Still waiting for my call.

Tim, I assure you if the Log does not lie then they are looking at the wrong log. My phantom tilted sideways with the motors ON and FLEW across the yard and the battery popped out when I went to pick it up. A motor stop would make the copter fall straight down! I am not an newbie and feel like I am being treated like a fool.

I have sent a message to see if someone can contact you. The ticket says they tried to contact you a few times with no response.
I am not in the repair department but the flight log looks correct that it would not be a warranty repair.
Regardless, I have no input on warranty or non warranty claims.
All I can do is send a message to see if someone can talk to you about it.
And I am sorry that your aircraft crashed.

I do not work for customer support or the repair center. I am here on the forums to help out with peoples technical question. Anything that has to do with customer support or repair I have no other option than to relay messages. So it's not passing the buck.

No worries Tim. I do understand. Just very frustrated with this company. I wish I had keep the Yuneec. Glad I have my Align 480L to keep working with. Will never purchase another DJI product. Thanks

Tim, Just looked at my flight on my phone and now I know why  Service thinks I did a motor stop. The flight shows it spinning at the end of the flight and then the controls show a stop. I actually Did do a motor stop after it Hit the ground because the motors were spinning. How do I share the Animated log that is on my phone?

I have reviewed the Animated Flight on my Phone and it clearly shows the copter spinning at the end where the esc failed. The Motor Stop was initiated after it was on the ground to stop the blades from spinning. Please repair my copter. I have posted a link to the video here
