Hi everyone ,

I im using my phantom 3 standard with a DBS antenna ,  im just wondering if someone
try alredy a 2.4 amplifier and 5.8 aplifier for the video  with the dbs antenna and the phantom 3 standard

im just wondering if i buy one of those things and add it to my DBS antena  im going to get more range , does it reall works ?

The 5.8 ghz amplifier worked well on my standard.  I did not try the 2.4 for the video, since I was not losing video feed.  I was having limited range for the r/c,  and the amplifier helped with that.  I also used a stock antenna.

About 2000 feet.  Stock antenna though.  Without it,  I got one or two hundred feet on a good day.

is not much ,  mmm with the dbs i get 1.7 km (5577.42ft)
im thinking about adding an amplifier to the dbs anttena

i dont know if it helps  how much does  the amplifiers costs ?

Try a windsurfer as well, I reach 2.0 kilometer (no video loss) just with a windsurfer. If you but the amplifier and windsurfer working together I think you can reach much more.

thats because you can use FCC ,  im CE mode , with a windsurf in CE mode i get 400 meters
thats why i buy the dbs antenna and now i get 1.7 km  im just want to see if i can get 4 km with an amplifier and the dbs antenna

I paid about 50 dollars.  But if you use it and something like the Windsurfer antenna mod,  you will probably get more range than you can use.  I believe my P3 Standard has a problem.  It had good range right out of the box,  but by the fith or sixth flight,  after a firmware update,  the range became very bad.

That would be amazing for a Standard in ce mode.  I just got 4.07k  with my stock Advanced in fcc mode.

Amazing , thats the range i want ,  jeje  more that 4 km is not safety to fly because of the battery
