Hi Folks,

New to the forums and new to DJI products. I just flew my new Phantom 3 standard for the first time last week and I haven't stopped smiling! Great product!

I was looking in the DJI Go app and did not see and option to change altitude to "feet" or speed to "mph". As an American who was born and bred on something other than the very logical metric system my brain is stuck on old-school nonsense.

Anyway, is there a way to, or a plan to, allow changing those values around?

Thanks in advance

Thank you very much. I thought I had looked and not saw it, but apparently I didn't look good enough.

Appreciate your time!

It's not exactly "feet" your looking for, look for Imperial and metric click on imperial.

A large percentage of the world uses metric so having the metric option makes perfect sense. The option that I believe doesn't make sense is that the metric option shows drone speeds in M/S. Whilst wind speed is sometimes measured in M/S, I think it would make more sense to have the metric drone speeds in KMH which is what most metric countries would be use for vehicle speeds.
DJI-Ken, would you be able to add this to the list of requests?

Look for the option Imperial.  And be aware,  even if you select Imperial,  ( Which is us Muricans )  the RTH setting is still measured in meters.  So plan your failsafe return to home height accordingly.  Have fun and happy flying.  Nice dental work,  by the way.

Actually, ALL the world, with the exception of the US, Liberia and Burma.

Welcome to the forum,
To change from feet to meters, go into the general settings and it's the first option.

Ken, Per my earlier post, is it possible that, in a future release,  we could have a KMH metric option rather than M/S? For most people, M/S isn't really something that we can relate to whereas KMH is what is typically used for all vehicle speeds.

Pleas i would love to have also the option of km/h or even m/h on speed , i think it makes more sense to most of people as we all more used to that metric... Thanks !!!

+1 vote for the km/h speed unit. It's a unit that is much easier to relate to.

Calculating m/s to km/h in realtime (which is 1 m/s = 3.6 km/h, btw) gets old after a while.

Well here in the North of Ireland we use both. However all of us use Mph as all our vehicles come this way. I would like the option to use MPH for speed but meters for distance

I would rather see miles than meters or feet. when the drone reaches 5280 feet the readout should automaticaly change to miles

I agree but not on meters for distance. Im in the UK and we use ft and miles so when the dron reaches 2800 meters the distance should automaticaly change to a miles reading
