Hi,

I'm trying to get my cheap Modecom tablet to talk to my P3A and I need some help.
Specs for the tablet are:
Modecom FreeTAB 1001
4 core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A7 processor
Very capable video chipset, 8 core, capable of more than 4K video playback
1024x768 display - a very nice and bright display I must add
Running Android 4.2.2

Here's what happens when I connect it to my P3A:
Everything seems ok at first but I only get a glimpse of the video stream (less than a second) and the video turns black-and-white and I get NO SIGNAL at the top.

Has anyone succesfully fixed an issue like this?
I know that this tablet is not listed as recommended or even usable device but I'd like to get it working until I get a better tablet.

Everything works fine on my Nexus 4 phone but the screen is so small and I'd like to use that tablet.

Thanks for your help!

that is because you device is not compatible with the DJI GO App.  It doesn't do the same when you are using other devices, right?

Tim,
Everything works fine with other devices. I've tried Nexus 4 phone and a Nexus 7 II tablet and there are no issues.
This is not an issue with the Phantom or any other part of it. This is an issue of the cheap Modecom tablet that has some strange USB behavior - when I connect it via USB to my PC a notification appears on the tablet saying "connected as an installer".
I was just hoping I could use it until I get something larger than the Nexus 4.

Thanks
