It does,  but you have to use an umbrella because the water from the coffee maker will spill out when it goes inverted.    Poor design there.  It's enough to make me wonder what else they messed up on.

I am sure the P4, like most drones, can fly upside down but not for extended duration.

Yep....flies upside down.
Then it hits the ground and you wait until the P5 with upside down capabilities is released in May of 2017.

Hope this was not serious.

But I want to do flips with my 1399$ new drone, its not fair the 3DR can do flips. sarcasm...  I hope phantoms never implement acrobatic flips.

Some say it can fly upside down...

You can fly any drone upside down, it does take practice though. Hahaha
