I would like to hear from DJI what happened to the April 1st EDU discount date ?

I wouldn't have waited for the discount to order, but I thought it was interesting that you needed a .edu email address when I looked into the process for getting the discount. I work at a high school and my email address ends in ".k12.wi.us" like I'm fairly certain every other high school education employee in the state of WI. Anyway, the site would not accept the email address. It must be ".edu".

I teach middle school in Oregon and ours is similar, centennial.k12.or.us

The only people I know who have an EDU address is college or university staff.

My Wife is doing a PhD in something or other so I could ask her to buy with Edu discount  but I think I would rather just pay the extra $100 or so then get the inevitable YOU PAID HOW MUCH FOR THAT DRONE !!!

Hey just wondering if there is any new as of why the date has been changed to may 1st? I sold my phantom 3 before april 1st as i was planning to buy the 4 on april 1st. so now I'm out of a drone and have to wait a month?

I have an 20% EDU discount code and I was trying to use it to purchase Phantom 4 but at checkout I'm getting this error:  "This coupon code can’t be used for these products.".

The small print says that only Phantom 3 is not eligible.

For some reason, the 10% coupon works for Phantom 4 while the email clearly states that 10% is only for Phantom 3 and 20% coupon is for everything else.

I tried contacting education@dji.com and dev.edu@dji.com and got no answer

Any suggestions?

That's not what the email says.  Here's the text of the email:

Sounds like they haven't updated the text to reflect the P4.  Doesn't make sense to exclude the P3 but include the P4.

20% doesn't work on either phantom 3 or 4.  In fact, 20% off doesn't seem to work on anything, I tried a whole bunch of products not on that list.

Hi, is the educational discount now valid for the Phantom 4? And what's the situation with an email address that is rejected by the automated system - my University is in the Czech Republic, I have a school email account but it doesn't end in .edu - any ideas?

Have you tried contacting education@dji.com to see if they could help with the verification process? They would also be the best ones to confirm if the Phantom 4 is available at an educational discount.
