I just crashed my phantom 4. I bought it because it looked like a great beginner drone with all the flying aids. But then today I was filming a tree about three feet higher than me and backed up into another tree. I figured I had to film this tree cause it is so cool. I could have just stood on a chair to film it. But with 5 km range lightbridge, the phantom 4 seemed like the best tool for the job at three feet higher than my head. Anyway, afterwards I noticed a crack on the gimbal. Are they available for sale yet?

With the newly designed gimbal supporting sytem and the dual support of the pitch axis, I doubt it will crack that way.

Trees are definitely cool to film while standing on a chair.
