I want to know what the dimensions of the aircraft are? And also what are the dimensions of the hard case? I want to know if it can go as a carry on on airlines like the Phantom 3.

Hi, the case size is 325*220*381mm, the size of the aircraft is about 289.5mm*289.5mm*196mm.  Yes, it can be carried on airlines without problem.

     As funny as your pillow comment is (that is what I thought!) the pillow shape helps the aerodynamics and aerodynamic stability at speeds over 30-40 mph.  When it finally came out, I realized the benefits of that pillow shape.  The camera will be much more stable at high speeds and allow good recordings of sports at high speeds.

     And notice the angles of the props.  The P4 will be able to descend way faster than the P2 or P3 without going into Vortex Ring State (wobble of death).  They really put some thought into that pillow!

It does not fit, I tried it.
The legs are close to an inch longer (front to rear) and the gimbal guard will not let you set it into the back pack as the guard clips onto the legs.
You can cut out the space for the legs, but then where do you store batteries.
So ic can fit after a bunch of hacking into the foam.

Dimensions of the landing gear? Wonder if it fits in a Think Tank Helipak...
