While flying my drone I received a curious visitor.
Apparently it is a  female goshawk and once satisfied its curiosity it decided to devote  itself to other more profitable activities.

Awesome close up of the hawk. Glad it called off the attack of your quad.

Definitely cool and close up....and thankfully both were unharmed....especially the hawk....

Very Cool footage and a great still shot at the end of the video.
That would be one for the wall if i got that footage.

It does a great job show flight dynamics of the hawk. The way the wing folds and dips to make the hard turn. The air brake when it comes in so fast, to slow down for a close look. Very impressive video. A person interested in studying the hawk would love all the information it shows in bird dynamics.

Yes, and most importantly, the wings do not unscrew under heavy braking.

I know that the next question it is not an easy one but.....

Do you think that the hawk could repeat the interest for the dron again?

Some expert... or other experiences with birds?

I do a lot of green screening myself! Yours was almost undetectable except for the still at the very end. Good video though!

Hi mjlstudios there isn´t green screening in the video it is the reason that it is undetectable.....the still shot is post procesed as you can see easily.

Is there any special environment required?  Special Conditions?  Lighting?  Music?

Could you make and post a video of Phantom Breeding Action?  Purely in the interests of scientific knowledge, of course!
