Ok first of all it doesnt want to uprgade i keep updating it then i plug it back in my mac and it says i still have to upgrade to 1.4 and also now since ive done that  my thumb controller doesnt move as smoove anymore idk whats going on but i paid a lot of money for this thing to be giving me so much trouble

you have to update the remote controller too
