How fast does the drone fly in Tap to Fly mode and normal mode? Is it faster or slower than the P3?

The obstacle avoidance will not work in sport mode. In normal mode, the maximum horizontal speed is 10m/s.

Because of the limitation I hope there is and audible and on screen warning when the 10 m/s speed is exceeded.  It would be sad to see "Warranty claim denied, speed was too fast".

This is correct. Just crashed mine...

Apart from reaction time, in Sport Mode, with your drone tilting forward at up to 42°, the sensors don't have a good view in front of the drone.
The simple solution is to avoid zipping around in Sport Mode close to obstacles.
Save that for large clear areas.
