Can a DJI representative tell me if you are going to release a Pro version of the Phantom 4, like you did with Phantom 3?
should I wait till this version instead of buying the P4 now?

What would you like to see in the Pro version.
Even if they had one in the works, they wouldnt tell you about it now.  That would affect their sales pf Phantom 4!

WOW I hope they do come out with a Pro version!!!!   Hope it coincides with when I'm ready to buy a P4 that way, those people that MUST HAVE the top of the line product whether they''ll use those features or not will dump their P4s cheap like they are doing now with their P3Ps!    lightly used P4 for 800 bucks!  oh yeah!

Its a personal preference.    Luckily I had JUST bought my P3 Pro a week before P4 was announced, so I was able to return it and buy P4.   If I had bought P3 last year, I would have probably still bought P4.   The Obstacle detection is a great feature&aid.  And Active Track along with Sport mode are reason enough to upgrade.

The camera actually is a lot better in my eyes, the photos and videos are much crisper and clearer. And from the P4 FAQ's, you can see why it's a totally different aircraft and nothing like the P3

The P4 is the only version and no plans on variations of it.

how much faster is it P4 in sport mode vs P3 in ATT mode ? just wondering

Sport mode on the P4 is 20m/s and P3 is 16m/s (35mph verses 45mph)

For me, the main feature that appeals to me with the P4 is the active tracking in conjunction with POI... That is sweet.

I'm talking about being able to track a moving 'Point Of Interest'. Being able to circle a skier as he/she descends a slope. That is cool. Am I right this can be done with the P4?

No idea what your video 2 is showing, but video 1 and 3 are cool.

Yes, you can track a moving object and do a point of interest around the target. You bank and it will keep the same distance as you go around the target.
And you can control the distance and altitude as well.
BUT, as a skier is descend a slope you would have to lower altitude manually. And currently, Active Track only works in P mode, so the skier would have to be travelling slower then 10m/s

I just ran the flyby clip on my monitor full screen and it looked really crisp and clean. Just pissed me off though, I can't afford to upgrade.

Start saving now until the time is right for your budget. ;-)
It won't be new on the shelf forever... Wait a bit, and then jump on one. ;-)
That's what I would do, if the P4 interested me enough to want one, early.
Hang in there, and yours will have a price tag you can handle, comfortably.

By the love of god don't listen to this.  I respect you guys I do, ive seen you help.  But the last time someone at DJI told me to buy now the price of the next model up dropped a week later.  Officially breaking any verbal trust I have with the at least the sales team.

I 'm not part of the sales team, all I can say is I'm telling all my friends who are want the P4 to not wait too long to order. I don't know how long the price will remain the same until it goes up and I don't know 100% if it will go up but I'm guessing it will.
But what I can tell you is the P4 price will not be going down for quite some time.
