Try to adjust the antenna direction when the signal is weak, and stay away from other 2.4G  wifi signals of the city.

It's kind of interesting to see how I have changed my philosophy during the time I've owned the Phantom FC40 and now the P3P. I would do more foolish things with my FC40. Many times, I would fly it as high up as I could go and I'm sure that it was over 1500 feet in the air. Now, I see no point in doing so with my P3. I have it set to 400 feet and am perfectly content following the rules. However, if I was out in the rural country side somewhere...away from the suburbs, I would be inclined to push it further but haven't had the opportunity yet

Suppose your P3 and an aircraft are somehow within a mile of each other.  The P3 is about a cubic foot.  There are 27,878,400 cubic feet of air in a 1x1x1 mile area.  I'm not saying you should fly if manned aircraft are nearby, but what are the odds of that aircraft and the P3 occupying the same cubic foot?

IMO RC helis are the sort of thing that can be flown very safely in small numbers, it is only if a large number of people are flying at once or if they do it in congested areas that the potential for problems increases.
