Blaming consumers for walking into a retail store and buying a product for sale on the shelf for getting the product too early is ridiculous. Most people aren't going to read forums like this before they buy things. And I seriously doubt that Apple violated its distribution agreement with DJI. Why would they want the legal and customer service headaches? Consider how many calls or store visits they will field from customers who are frustrated they can't use their purchases yet? If they are selling them now, DJI likely did not contractually embargo them from doing so, which is 100% on DJI. Ultimately, unless it is shown that Apple specifically violated its contract, it is entirely DJI's responsibility if consumers are getting their hands on these products before DJI is ready to support them with software and instructions. If it is shown Apple violated its contract, then shame on Apple. But I'm laying odds they didn't. |
